What is C?

C is a high-level, general-purpose, procedural computer programming language that was developed in the early 1970s by Dennis Ritchie at Bell Labs. It is one of the most widely used programming languages of all time and is considered the foundation of modern computing. It is used to develop a wide range of applications, including operating systems, device drivers, and embedded systems, as well as other software applications.
